Refreshing Drinks Recipes: #1. Banana & Vanilla Cookie Milkshake



Very refreshing summer drink with high levels of potassium!

(Servings: 2 - 3)

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe Bananas, sliced 
  • 250 ml. Milk
  • 10 pcs. Vanilla organic cookies  (you can also use other types of cookie that you prefer i.e. Chocolate Chip Cookie, Oatmeal Cookie)
  • Syrup (50 ml. hot water & 1 tablespoon brown sugar)
  • 10 Cubes ice

Preparation
  • In a blender, combine bananas, milk, and cookies.
  
  • Make your own simple syrup by dissolving brown sugar into hot water, stirring constantly.
 
  • Pour the syrup into the blender.
 
  • Blend the ingredients until bananas are chopped.  Add the ice cubes. 
 
  • Blend further until the drink is smooth.

 
  • Transfer to a serving glass. 
  • Put banana slices on the lip of each serving glass for garnish, and...

 Serve Immediately!
